Join host Fiona Bruce and have your antiques and collectables examined by experts at Coventry Cathedral in September.
This September will see BBC One’s Antiques Roadshow come to Coventry.
Airing since 1979, the popular programme invites members of the public to have their antiques and collectables examined by experts. The show brings together a team of the country’s leading authorities on arts and antiques to offer valuations for your family heirlooms or car boot bargains.
Join host Fiona Bruce and the Antiques Roadshow team when they film at Coventry Cathedral and University Square, Coventry on Tuesday, 8 September 2020.
Entry to the show is free and everyone is welcome – whether you have an antique to be valuated or just want to look around – and no tickets or pre-registration is required.
Admission on the day is usually from 9:30 am until 5:00 pm, and as long as you’re in the queue by these times, you are guaranteed to be seen by one of the experts.
If you have an item with a story you’d like to share, you can get in touch with Antiques Roadshow, and you just might appear on the show.
Fiona Bruce, the presenter of Antiques Roadshow, has urged people, whether a fan of the show, curious to see behind the scenes, or just fancy a day out, to “dig out your treasures and come along”.
“The best part of working on Antiques Roadshow is that we never know who or what is going to turn up on the day. The visitors, the objects they bring, their stories and the location all combined to make a fabulous experience that we aim to capture for the viewers”, she said.
