Your chance to get up close and personal with some exotic critters

Interactive family sessions at Coombe Country Park and the War Memorial Park.

From creepy crawlies to exotic critters, Scottish company ZooLab are offering Coventry residents the chance to get to up close and personal with a range of animals in a fun, interactive session for all the family.

Running in Coombe Country Park and the War Memorial Park, these sessions will let you get up close and hands-on with a number of animals including snakes, lizards and tarantulas and more.

Of course, if you’d prefer to just look, that’s okay too.

The perfect activity for the summer holidays, these sessions provide a unique opportunity to learn all about how fascinating these animals can be.

Aimed at the whole family, the sessions are suitable for anyone aged 5-years-old and above.

ZooLab are all about working with animals to amaze, educate, inspire, delivering educational experiences and explaining the concepts of animal science in ways that children can see and touch.

The sessions will both be running next month on Wednesday, 21 August; the session in War Memorial Park runs from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, while the Coombe Country Park session runs from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

Tickets cost only £5.50 per person.

Booking is essential and tickets are available at www.coventry.gov.uk/wmpevents or www.coventry.gov.uk/coombeevents.
