Guy Fawkes Night, more commonly known as Bonfire Night, is fast approaching, so we’ve rounded up a list of some of the best bonfires and fireworks displays happening in and near Coventry.
The 5th November falls on a Tuesday this year, so most displays are taking place the weekends either side, but a few take place on the night itself.
You have plenty to choose from, you could even head to more than one if you want – just remember to wrap up warm.

Coventry Rugby Club at Butts Park Arena
Coventry Rugby Club will once again host their ever-popular fireworks just outside of the city centre at Butts Park Arena this Sunday, 3 November from 3:00 pm until 6:30 pm.
The evening will include a bar, hot food, live music and children’s entertainment.
Tickets on the day cost £5 per adult and £3 per child or book in advance to save £1 per ticket by calling 02476 231001.
The annual Bonfire Extravaganza returns to Kenilworth Castle on Saturday, 2 November from 5:30 pm.
This event has grown over many years to its current position as the premier firework display in the region, attracting people to Kenilworth from all over Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond.
The display is always a firm favourite in the town’s calendar, which raises tens of thousands of pounds for local good causes.
The firework show is set against the wonderful panorama of the Castle, which is floodlit in a mass of colour for the evening.
As well as the entertainment, there is a range of food and drinks available across the field from a number of tents and stalls.

Eastern Green Recreation Ground
The 21st Eastern Green Scout group along with local company Spitfire Pyrotechnics are again presenting their annual charity bonfire and firework night at Eastern Green Recreation Ground, located on Church Lane, CV5 7BX.
The display takes place this Saturday, 2 November from 6:00 pm, with tickets on the evening costing £6 per adult and £4 per child.
Allesley Firework Display
The annual Allesley Firework Display returns with a bang this year, featuring plenty of food, live music, a bar and children’s entertainment.
This display takes place on Saturday, 2 November from 5:00 pm, with fireworks starting at 7:00 pm, located at Allesley Hall Primary School, Winsford Avenue, CV5 9NG.
The Allesley Hall PTA also host a raffle, with prizes this year including a Nintendo Switch game console, a weekend away in the UK, a Land Rover Off-Road Experience and £50 in cash.

Stoke Old Boys RFC
Stoke Old Boys RFC’s Bonfire Night celebrations are back and bigger than ever before, featuring a new layout with more space, a bigger bonfire, food stalls, music, a bar and hot drinks.
This display takes place on the night itself, Tuesday, 5 November, with the bonfire being lit at 7:00 pm, shortly followed by fireworks at 7:30 pm.
Tickets must be brought on the day, costing £5 per adult and £2.50 per child.
